Where the Festival will take place?

The IPMA Festival of Knowledge in Poland,on 23rd November 2012 together with the accompanied event for young research managers & Young Crew IPMA on 24th November 2012 will take place in Cracow, at the AGH University of Science and Technology.

Further information regarding particular rooms for plenary sessions, panels and workshops will be announced soon.



Where will Gala dinner take place?

Gala dinner, on 23rd November 2012, will be heldatthe Tomaszowice Manor - a historical 19th century Manor and Park complex located at the north gateway to Cracow. Organisers provide Participants with bus transport.



AGH University of Science and Technology

How to get there?

  • GETTING TO KRAKÓW

Kraków is located at the crossing of important transportation routes, close to the Silesian agglomeration and the southern border of Poland. The A4 motorway ensures fast and convenient connection with Silesia and Germany, and eventually with Lvov, Ukraine.

The Kraków's openness to the world is also reinforced by the modern and constantly expanded John Paul II International Airport Kraków-Balice (http://www.krakowairport.pl/en) , second largest airport in the country. It provides direct domestic and international connections to many cities in Europe and other continents.

The broad network of railway connections enables fast and comfortable travels by train (http://rozklad-pkp.pl/bin/query.exe/en). Starting from the 'KrakówGłówny' station you can reach Warsaw in 2.5 hours and Gdańsk in 6 hours. In a couple of hours you can travel to Vienna, Prague, Bratislava, Berlin and Budapest.
