Working Title of the IPMA Research Expert Seminar:
PROGRAMME MANAGEMENT IN THE NEW ECONOMY ENVIRONMENT
Date and Venue: 9th and 10th March 2010, Presentation Room, Old Mutual, Pinelands, Cape Town.As President of the Scientific and Organising Committee of the IPMA Festival of Knowledge, it gives me pleasure to extend an invitation to attend the Research Expert Seminar to be held in Cape Town on 9th and 10th March. The focus of the seminar will be on the application of Project and Programme Management principles in leading and managing the learning organisation value chain. Behavioural aspects play a major role since the application of these principles involves continuous transformation and change in the organisation. The success of the learning organisation is largely dependent on the ability of its human resources to create, acquire and transfer knowledge and importantly to modify their behaviours to reflect the new knowledge and insights gained.
The papers to be delivered at the Expert Seminar in Cape Town will have a sharp focus on programme management structures and the leadership consideration dimensions that play a major role in successful organisational performance. The attendance fee is 160€ or R1 650 inclusive of VAT. Refreshments and light lunches are included.
This also serves as an invitation to researchers who wish to deliver papers. In the event that your paper is accepted the attendance fee will be refunded.
Come and join us in the Mother City for an unforgettable experience.
